Fredonia Cumberland Presbyterian Church

   This man meet last night, with 6 in attendance. We had our usual meal and then watched a devotional video titled, "You Can Change". There was a lively discussion afterwards, that was quite edifying and uniting. We then made a decision to donate our funds, (about $150.00) to a family for medical assistance. Jimmy Rowland then gave a report and encouraged men to get involved in the "Returning Hearts Program" out at WKCC, September 27, 2008.

Finally, we discussed our annual church golf tournament. September 9th, @ 6:00 pm, we will be going out to Dukes Driving Range outside of Marion for a little golf seminar for those who feel they need some instruction. Then Saturday, September 13th, we will play the tournament at Marion Country Club, starting about 8:00 am. I want to thank everyone for their attendance and encourage others as next month's meeting draws near, September 16th, at 7:00 pm. Doug Phelps will be bringing the devotion.
