Fredonia Cumberland Presbyterian Church

  

 

  Hey, what's going on at the Church?

 

   Beginning September 8th, we will be participating in a softball Church league that includes Fredonia First Baptist, White Sulphar Baptist, and Walnut Grove Baptist. The games will be played Monday and Saturday evenings@ 6:30 pm. There will be one game each night, scheduled for around 10 weeks. We'd like everyone to sign up, even if you can't play but occassionally. On any given night we may have plenty, or not enough, so it's important that you sign up. The sheet's in the back of the sanctuary.

  At the end of the season, there will be a trophy that will be given to the church that wins the league and it will be passed around to subsequent annual winners. Any questions, contact BC.

 

  There will also be a churchwide golf tournament September 13th, at the Marion Country Club. We'll divide up into two person teams and "press toward the goal for the prize". Times will be announced Sunday. Additionally, Tuesday, Sept. 9th, Doug Phelps will be offerring a golfing seminar to those in the church who would like a little instruction in the game. That will take place a Dukes Rough Country Golf Course at 6:00 pm.
