What Cumberland Presbyterians Believe

We believe all scripture to be the inspired word of God, the only rule of faith and practice. 2 Tim. 3:16

We believe in a "whosoever will" doctrine. John 3:16

We believe in Eternal Security--once saved always saved. John 10:28

We believe that all christians may partake of the Lord's Supper where ever or whenever it is observed.  I Cor. 11:28

We do not believe there is any saving power in water baptism. We practice sprinkling as our mode, but acknowledge any mode of water baptism. One does not need to be baptized again when joining our church unless he or she so desires.
